Chapter 4: Driving Operation
1、Pre-Use inspection:
①Check whether the steering column turns smoothly, and ensure there is no looseness or jamming.
②Check if the battery has sufficient charge to ensure reliable driving.
③Check if the braking system is responsive and reliable.
④Check the condition and pressure of the front and rear tires.
⑤Check if the accelerator is responsive and if the motor operates normally.
2、Starting
① Sit in the driver’s seat and lightly place your right foot on the brake pedal.
② Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "ON" position to connect the power. You can check the battery charge level via the indicator
3、Driving
①Forward: With the scooter powered on, hold the steering wheel with both hands. Place your right foot on the accelerator and press gently to move forward. You can control the speed by adjusting the pressure on the accelerator
②Reverse: Switch to the "Reverse" gear. Hold the steering wheel with both hands and gently press the accelerator with your right foot to move backward. Speed can be controlled by how much you press the accelerator
③Neutral: The vehicle must be braked to a stop before switching between low and high gears.
4、Handling situations while driving:
① To brake, lift your right foot off the accelerator and press the brake pedal until the scooter stops.
② When turning, activate the corresponding turn signal in advance. After the turn, ensure the signal switch resets to neutral.
③ If the battery indicator shows red, the power is low. Charge the battery promptly to extend its lifespan
④ In low visibility, turn on the headlights and adjust between high and low beams as needed.
⑤ When driving down hill heavily loaded or on steep slopes, use low gear. If speed increases too much, apply the brakes to reduce speed and enter a controlled descent for safety
⑥ Turn on the heater to disperse fog on the front windshield when it fogs up.
5、Parking:
When stopping the scooter, ensure it's stable, turn the ignition switch to "OFF," engage the handbrake, and remove the key.
Be cautious when driving in rain or snow, as the road may be slippery.
Chapter 5: Charging precautions
1、Turnoff the power switch, engage the handbrake, and remove the key before charging to prevent accidental movement
2、.Only use the charger provided with the scooter. Ensure the charger matches the battery type and voltage. Do not mix chargers.
3、Do not charge in enclosed spaces or areas with high temperatures or flammable/explosive materials.
4、Connect the charger output plug to the battery first, then plug the input into a 110V AC outlet. A red light on the charger indicates charging; a green light means charging is complete.
5、If the indicator light behaves abnormally, or if there is a strange smell or overheating of the charger, stop charging immediately and inspect the charger.
6、After charging, disconnect the AC power plug first, then unplug the charger from the battery. Do not leave the charger plugged into the outlet when not in use.
7、Keep the charger dry and avoid liquid ingress to prevent internal short circuits. Ensure tight connection between the power plug and outlet when charging.
Chapter 6: Battery maintenance
1、The vehicle is standard equipped with a lithium battery; the battery should be fully charged for the first use of a new vehicle.
2、.After each use, check the battery level. Charge it promptly if low. Even when not in use, recharge the battery once a month to extend its lifespan.
3、.If the battery indicator enters the red zone while driving, charge it as soon as possible. Avoid over-discharge. Undercharging, overcharging, and over-discharging can all damage the battery and reduce its life.
4、Avoid exposure to rain.
5、.Keep the battery surface clean and dry. Keep away from open flames or high heat. Do not expose it to direct sunlight in hot weather.
6、Ensure good ventilation around the battery.
7、Do not dispose of old batteries arbitrarily; improper disposal may cause environmental pollution.
Chapter 7: Motor usage and maintenance
1、.Keep the motor in a dry, well-ventilated environment for effective heat dissipation.
2、Do not press the accelerator to the maximum when starting to avoid high starting current that could damage the motor. If the scooter is blocked and cannot start, do not repeatedly try to start it. Diagnose and fix the issue first.
3、The voltage of the lithium battery should be maintained between 72V and 78V; otherwise, the normal operation of the motor will be affected or the motor will not reach its rated performance.
4、Avoid water contact with the motor. Do not drive through deep water.
5、.On rough terrain, drive slowly to avoid strong vibrations to the motor.
6、When inspecting or maintaining the motor, always disconnect the power. Check and tighten any loose bolts.
Chapter 8: Maintenance schedule
Regular maintenance is essential for safe driving and to extend the scooter’s lifespan. Follow the recommended maintenance schedule for your scooter.
